My first designed heat-race boat in 20 years (that is actually also built and raced). Runs with Sirio Kanai-2 engine with CMD barrel carb and home made water cooling head and home made short flywheel.
Thanks, it works great. I won the first nats in Sweden with it (and a SGX-1 but I crashed it) and came second today at the second nats. I lack testing time though. I run it without the rear wing now. Must sort everything else out first. It runs a little loose on the front sponsons. In semi-rough water it runs at about 100K with a stock Kanai-2 on 40% nitro (too cold now) - so there is potential there I think. But too much rough water at the first races. I will upload more pics later...

Thanks for the additional pictures. it is without a doubt your one dam fine craftsman! your attention to detail is excellent. I really think your rears look great, not funny at all. I like the chamfer to the front sponson tops as well. I would only change 1 thing if I were you.... a solid tube for the cooling water through the radio box. all it takes is a tiny leak and you will have a radio in your water box  really excellent work!
Thanks again. Rears: just a different look on on ordinary rails, didnt want full sponsons either. Maybee good with a wider stance vs std rails under tub? Tube: Ive heard that comment before :-D maybee for the next ride. But all the stuff in the box is "water safe", the reciver (R203HS) is also clearcoated and vaseline on all connectors and rystal. In on-road cars we have used them wide open in pouring rain without any problems even. But as said, maybee next time. Total weight (no fuel) is 1840g.
