Caught some flack over that concept, initially...didn't have an issue with ingesting any rooster tails,
but the boat did develop a tendency to kite going into turn 3 at the club.... learned real quick to
finger forward the throttle finger to close carb barrel off before landing... worked perfectly, but we
still had to flush engine out after we retrieved it... thinkin' that was because it sat out there for 3-4
minutes upside down... didn't hydraulic, just sipped in some water, I guess.
