The flywheel is bolted to the engine with a 1/4-28 socket head cap screw. A hex nut can also be used on threaded crank ends & either will fit beneth the tapered sleeve cavity. A hardened steel washer is used under the screw head or nut to prevent flairing of the steel locating hub on the flywheel face. The flywheel is located on the crankshaft with a tapered split collet. Two 10-32 set screws, 180 degrees apart, lock the split tapered collet, the flywheel & crankshaft together. One of the 10-32 taped holes can be seen on the right hand side of the flywheel. The tapered split collet has two flats machined in it to prevent set screw damage.
