This was one of the early tests of the design in 1980. A few notes: Steve Reynolds is the driver so this was definetly an early photo. Reynolds was fired (mutually parted ways?) before the start of the 1981 season because he publicly critisized the design. Also note the round metal pieces in front of the Miss lettering. This was for a wing that was tried to give the boat more lift. The third note is the style of the cowling. This was a much smaller type than the 81 boat.
