Here is where I am…

Got a little more done on it this afternoon! Just need to finish up with the cowl and get it painted. With any luck I’ll knock that out next week!

I’m really happy with the way this entire hull has come out. I sold my other gas scale at the Gas Nats last year and started on this one. This got put on the side and I built 5 other Scale boats. I finally got a chance to get this one completed just in time for the Gas Nats this year. lol!!

Mark, Just curious, 1/8th scale or 1/6th scale? If 1/8th, nitro or elec? We had fun last year at the Gas Nats and want to come back and race with you guys again. I just want to make sure I have the right equipment when we do come back!

I got ya. This is a problem (mounting the Eng) in some of the kits but I found using the larger isolators was an easy fix. Good luck with your sale.

Just to elaborate a little on these isolators. The ones that come with most motor mounts are 3/4” wide. If you’re building a ML 1/6th Scale kit these isolators work great in some of their kit allowing you to easily make a standard 5” mount work in a 6” opening. You will still have a 1/4” gap on...
