Walt I bought the smaller tank for the JAE 21 rigger from you in Atlanta a few years ago. You said you have a larger version that is a snug fit but has more capacity. I would like to buy one of your larger versions. Please let me know total cost with shipping and payment preference. Please...
It was Dick Caspari of Wichita KS. Raced with him in District 17 of APBA in the 90's and early 2000's. He was a master of fiberglass and carbon fiber repair and build. Repaired boats and built bodies for full size race cars as well.
Paul in the 90's and early 2000's I raced 3.5 and 7.5 Prather OB hydros. Both lower units the skeg was cut off with offset rudders to the right side. Cutting the skeg off allows more undisturbed water to reach the prop. More bite, more speed. Hence why OB tunnel hulls cannot match the hydros...
John,
I would be interested in the break-in procedure as well. I have two .46 Nova's to break-in for my twin. [email protected]
Much appreciated for the information!
Mike
For those of us who raced back in the 90's these were very popular. Just checked my stock. One is still in my Seaducer mono with a back up in my engine box. Guess I have the rest of them.

Our club used tetherballs. Usually yellow we would paint them orange. Made slits in them and blew up orange balloons inside to make them float. Great attachment point that was sturdy. Boats would usually glance off without damage. If you hit one square the balloon would pop thus decreasing...
Ran the .45 size (31") with a mod .45 engine and was blistering fast. Didn't turn well but the straight-a-ways were crazy fast. Longer length may have been better for the mod .45 or a stock .67.
